Far North Region

The Far North Region of ILDI includes all of the City of Chicago, northern and western Cook County suburbs north of the I-55 boundary, and all of Lake and McHenry counties.  Included are all Independent School Districts, private schools, parochial schools, home schools, neighborhood teams, and other organizations located within the boundaries of the above counties or designated sections.  Non-City of Chicago communities located in southern Cook County below I-55 are in the North Central Region. Elgin School District U-46 school attendance centers located in Cook County are in the Far North Region. All Far North Region Memberships will attend the Regional Tournament on March 13, 2010 in Waukegan .

2009-2010 Destination ImagiNation® Season Launches
September 1st!

The full Challenges and DI program materials became available to those with current memberships at just after midnight on September 1st! Be first to read about Operation Cooperation, Instinct Messaging, ViDIo Lit, Private DI, and A New Angle.

How do I get a membership?
Go on-line at www.shopdi.org and purchase a 1-pak (anyone can do this!) or a 5-pak (for schools or other organizations).

How do I learn more about how to DO DI?

Come to one of our Challenge LAUNCH events.
Two tracks of information are available. Veterans of the program can jump right in and find out all that is NEW this year.
Anyone new to DI can get an overview of the program including highlights of the season, benefits of  participating, and how to get involved.

At Global Finals 2008, they won FIRST PLACE IN THE WORLD in the middle level of the Chorific Team Challenge. There were 81 teams in their level of competition!
